Something About You
by
Mark Jones
There's something about you I just can't explain,
Something that pulls me to you again and again.
Could it be the dark curls of you soft, silky hair?
Or when you enter the room, the way your sweet scent fills the air?
Could it be that sweet, dazzling smile,
Or how I know for me, you'd walk a country mile?
Could it be the way you hold me and show me you care?
or the way you try to take my burdens for yourself to bear?
Perhaps it's the way you always bring a smile to My face,
by any means you can, from playing games to wearing lace.
Maybe it's the way you come crawl up in My lap so sweetly
and twist and squirm to get comfy, sometimes not so discreetly.
Could it possibly be that you excite me to no end
while always remembering to still be my friend?
Could it be that body with its gentle curves and swells,
the things it makes a man think could send him straight to hell.
I think if you took all these things and rolled them into a ball,
making sure you get each one, you have to have them all.
Throw in a dash of love and a pinch of tenderness too,
Then step back and look at what you have when you're through.
Well I'll be darned if isn't ........ you!
